Position Description
Recycline is a rapidly-growing, entrepreneurial company, and product management has a vital role in our success. The product manager plays a central role in our organization, interfacing with product development, sales, marketing and finance. We're looking for someone who is hungry to learn, wants to be part of a team, brings previous work experience related to the role, and can take on an increasing amount of responsibility very quickly.

This associate product manager will be responsible for assisting in the management of products for the growing Preserve product line, including:
• Being an internal product champion
• Carrying out the strategic direction of product families
• Coordinating with product development, sales and marketing to support products at market
• Spearheading projects to upgrade existing products and extend product lines
Associate Product Managers will develop skills and acquire experience to prepare for promotion to Product Manager positions.

Primary Responsibilities
• Serve as part of the team that is responsible for a product line across the entire supply chain.
• Analyze competitive products' strategy, positioning, and promotion.
• Communicate with manufacturing partners to schedule production, manage inventories and ultimately ensure on-time shipments.
• Develop forecasts based on historical sales. Respond to the sales team's information requests and preparations for sales calls.
• Support new product development, upgraded product packaging and customized solutions for new channels or retailers.
• Monitor product performance (velocity, quality, consumer feedback) in conjunction with sales and marketing.
• Support development of expanded distribution systems through new vendors to support Recycline's ability to service new channels.


Requirements
• 2+ years of experience with a consumer product company or in a related position.
• Skills necessary to be successful in the role include:
o Strong research and analysis abilities
o Proven quantitative analysis skills
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
o Attention to detail and pride in accuracy
o Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Product Management will require an:
o Ability to manage and track progress of projects in order to meet deadlines and budgets
o Ability to influence people and functions
o Ability to work autonomously and be held accountable for deliverables and overall performance

Compensation
This is a salaried position with benefits. The Associate will report to the Director of Product Development and will also work closely with the Director of Marketing and various product managers. Compensation will range from $33,000 – $40,000 with the potential for bonuses for superior work.
