An excellent opportunity to join a fast growing division of a well known Analytical Instruments and Services Company
The successful candidate will primarily be measured on their ability to contribute to the organization’s achievement of its annual operating profit and organic growth targets. Implicit in this is the expectation that this will be accomplished by a combination of marketing strategy development, hands-on marketing, and market development activities. Specific priorities and responsibilities include:
Develop and implement all aspects of the Division's go-to-market strategy (marketing plan, advertising, PR, sales support, internal marketing, etc.)
a comprehensive knowledge of market and competitor dynamics. Translate this understanding into compelling investment plans and strategies. Effectively communicate this information to key functional (sales, business managers, country managers, etc.) groups and leaders.
Oversee and direct the actions of Tactical Marketing Specialist, a direct report, and coordinate activities with local sales and marketing teams.
Manage the US marketing budget and maintain contact for all vendor (creative, advertising, PR) relationships to ensure that marketing activities deliver planned results and measurable ROI.
o Identify and leverage opportunities to partner with other company business to maximize overall business performance.
Experience & Qualifications:
o Bachelors degree in business, marketing, English, science (biology, chemistry, etc.), or philosophy. Masters degree and/or Doctorate a plus.
o Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience in the medical device/diagnostics/technical instruments or related services industry. Experience working for a marketing agency welcomed.
o Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills required.
o Demonstrated experience with successful web/digital, PR, advertising, and marketing strategy.
o Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint a must. CRM and/or lead management (Salesforce.com, etc.) experience a plus.
o Willing to travel extensively (25 – 50%) in support of business needs.
